For creation of this button of FB login to any site, one needs to first create a Facebook App. In a nutshell, what you need to do in order to support FB Login on your site is to create a Facebook App by going to the Facebook Developer Center and logging in there.

However, there is a flipside to using Facebook login in this manner. The authentication here, is done via Javascript. This in turn, involves complex applications on the server. However, once created, this Facebook login will make life easier and create a smooth website experience.

The amount of accessible information depends of the user's privacy settings and the kind of information wanted by the site or the App. Here is where permissions come to play. Take, for example, 2 sets of information which are required by the site or the App; viz. email id and user likes. The method to seek permissions is to add the FB login button on the web app and ask for the required permission to access the user's email id and his/ her likes via the scope parameter.
